high Brazilian mahogany. This wood had been in stock, unsold, at the timber merchants
for four years and was about to be sold as firewood. Brazilian mahogany
is protected and should no longer imported.

in the workshop while still being made, this cabinet, one of a pair, is
being made to complement an existing dressing table in the client’s
bedroom. Handles have yet to be chosen.
