Scottish fumed oak and sycamore.

    Represents the lighthouse Hyskeir, southwest of Canna, which flashes three times every 30 seconds.

Designed and made by Tony for the New Scottish Furniture Exhibition, Ardfern 2003, organised by the Scottish Furniture Makers Association. The brief was to create a piece with a nautical theme. Hyskeir Light shows three beams of light. The lantern rotates once every thirty seconds, thus creating the light's characteristic three flashes every thirty seconds.. 

Tables of this design or concept can be made of a size to suit the customer. A variety of lighthouses can be depicted in this way and the tables need not be rectangular.
